Kim Knoll
I started recruiting in 1993, and I still really love what I do! I have spent 99% of my career cultivating relationships in the technology market. Our clients include financial services and insurance, retail, SaaS, professional services, banking, agriculture, and more. I excel at matching company culture with like-minded candidates. I tend to work with mid-sized companies, bearing in mind that mid-sized is relative, as some of these clients have a parent company in the Fortune 500 or Global 2000. I have a proven track record of filling roles where others haven’t had success, which I attribute to years of growing my IT network!
My passion for IT runs in the family too. I was fortunate to encourage my children to pursue careers in this exciting field. All three of them are now in the development world and hold individual degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, and MIS from Iowa State University.
With 2023 marking my 30th year in the recruiting business, I am proud to have dedicated my career to Executive Resources, where the majority of my time I have specialized in IT recruitment. Since 1993, I have been actively involved in the industry, continuously honing my skills and adapting to the evolving landscape.
Throughout my journey, I have been privileged to be a member of professional organizations. Early on in my career, I joined the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS), an association that upholds the highest standards in the staffing industry. In 2001, I was honored to be accepted into the esteemed Pinnacle Society, an exclusive community of top-performing recruiters that recognizes excellence, experience, ethics, and expertise.
In addition to my professional achievements, I have contributed to the staffing community in various capacities. Notably, I served as the President of the Iowa Association of Staffing for a number of years, leveraging my experience and insights to foster collaboration and elevate industry standards. I have served on several committees for the Pinnacle Society, with the most recent being hospitality.
Beyond my professional endeavors, I actively engage in my community. As a Director on the Board of Midland Credit Union, I am committed to promoting financial well-being and serving the needs of our members. Moreover, during my children’s formative years, I dedicated my time and energy as a volunteer in the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and actively participated in countless activities, over the course of 16 years, ensuring their educational journey was enriched.
These experiences have shaped me both professionally and personally, reinforcing my commitment to excellence, service, and continuous growth. As I embark on the milestone of three decades in the recruitment industry, I am excited to continue making a positive impact in the lives of candidates and organizations alike.
