He has twenty-four years of broad experience in the recruiting industry including, but not limited to, Information Technology and Telecommunications, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales & Marketing and Human Resources, and has had consistent revenue and profitable growth during his leadership with J. Anderson & Associates.

With James’ leadership the firm has grown significantly in acquiring partnerships with F25 – F1000 companies as well as Private Equity and National Non-Profits. He has spent a significant amount of time voluntarily mentoring high school students and teaching college students how to prepare for the job market, offering internships and scholarships. James is also the president of The Mu Boulè Foundation, which mentors’ young men 6-12 grade and providing them with scholarships for college.

Smith earned his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a BS in Organizational Management from Mercy College of New York.  James has a wife and 4 children, and resides in Sparta, New Jersey.
