Doug Coley
Doug Coley is an experienced executive recruiter with over 25 years of expertise in the field. He is the owner of Coley Company, a recruiting agency based in Greensboro, North Carolina, which specializes in placing candidates in apparel, textile, and nonwoven product industries. Prior to his career in executive search, Doug worked for Milliken and Company, a global textile company, where he discovered his exceptional people skills while working in the manufacturing management department. With his extensive knowledge of the textile industry, he joined Adkins and Associates, a recruitment firm, and established their textile recruiting practice. Eventually, he became the Senior Vice President before founding his own search firm, Coley Company, in May 2010. His six-person team has successfully placed talent globally in the aforementioned industries. Doug has been a member of the prestigious Pinnacle Society, a leading consortium of North American recruiters, since 1997.

Before working in the executive search industry, Doug worked in Pendleton, SC, for Milliken and Company, a large global textile company. Working in the manufacturing management area for Milliken, Doug realized one of his greatest gifts was his people skills. With his textile experience, Doug joined Adkins and Associates and began their textile recruiting practice. Advancing to Sr Vice President, Doug departed from Adkins and Associates and started his own search firm, Coley Company, in May of 2010. Coley Company has grown to a six-person executive search firm placing talent globally in the apparel, textile, and nonwoven product industries.
Doug received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Appalachian State University. While at Appalachian State University, Doug helped start up Kappa Alpha Order, a social fraternity, on the ASU campus.Since 1997, Doug has been a member of the Pinnacle Society, a premier consortium of Industry-Leading recruiters in North America. The Pinnacle Society provides the nation’s top recruiters a forum in which to exchange business principles and placement techniques that lead them to achieve and maintain greater success.
