Chris Schoettelkotte founded Manhattan Resources in 1999 after holding leadership positions in public companies and working in private equity. His background in business strategy, integration, high-performance team development, and turnarounds in both corporate and private equity environments uniquely prepared him to approach Executive Search differently. Recognizing the inadequacy of the value proposition in the search industry, Chris focused on building a transparent search process that empowers clients to make strategic hiring decisions with confidence. His mission is to help clients build high-performance teams by understanding their businesses, specific team needs, and company cultures. Manhattan Resources fills intellectual capital gaps while respecting individual cultures. Chris earned a B.A. in Business from Western Illinois University and an MBA in International Business from the University of Houston Bauer College of Business. He resides in Houston with his wife Anna and their four children.
