Nate Schott is the Founder of Blue Door Executive Search Partners, a boutique executive search firm specializing in the construction, home services, skilled trades, and real estate industries.

With 15 years of recruiting experience, Nate partners with family-owned, privately held, and private equity-backed businesses to identify and recruit leadership talent. His work spans executive and senior management positions across general management, operations, finance, sales, and other critical business functions, with a particular focus on middle-market companies.

Nate founded Blue Door in 2022 with a vision to build a highly specialized search firm that prioritizes long-term relationships, industry expertise, and a personalized approach to recruiting. Today, the firm serves clients nationwide, with approximately 80% of its business coming from repeat clients.

A graduate of Miami University with a degree in Finance, Nate is actively involved in his community, serving on the Board of Trustees of Cristo Rey Columbus High School and supporting cancer research through Pelotonia. He is also a proud Eagle Scout.

Outside of recruiting, Nate is an avid endurance athlete whose accomplishments include completing Ironman Lake Placid, swimming 12 miles across Lake Tahoe, and summiting Mount Kilimanjaro.
