Michael Pietrack

Michael Pietrack is a leading Pharma and Biotech recruiter. His recruiting career began in 2007, and by 2013, he earned the top international solo producer in the MRINetwork. In 2014, he was selected into the Pinnacle Society, and then established TMAC Direct, which was later acquired by Parexel. In 2015, he was named one of Pharma’s 100 Most Inspiring People by PharmaVoice. He joined forces with Jeff Kaye in 2023, where he became a partner in Starfish Partners and tasked to run and grow the Life Sciences practice at KBIC. His team serves the Pharma, Biotech, Diagnostics, and Device industries. Shortly after joining Starfish Partners, Pietrack started The Pharmaverse Podcast, which is a leadership podcast tailored to executives in the biopharma space.

Michael is also a columnist for BioSpace, where he writes on the topic of leadership. Additionally, he is a sought-after public speaker and a best-selling author. He and his family live in Grand Junction, Colorado. In 2001, Allan decided to start his own company, founding PFS.
