Mary Morton is the Owner and CEO of SEMbio, an executive search firm specializing in Medical Affairs recruiting. She partners with pharmaceutical and biotech companies to identify exceptional talent for MSL, MSL leadership, Medical Director, Vice President, and related Medical Affairs roles. With more than 30 years of experience in recruiting, Mary has a deep understanding of the Medical Affairs landscape, the qualities that make candidates successful, and the hiring dynamics that shape strong teams.

Mary is also the co-host of MSLead Chronicles, a podcast focused on people leadership topics within the MSL and Medical Affairs community. Through thoughtful conversations with industry leaders, the podcast creates space for practical insight, shared experience, and honest discussion about what it takes to lead well.

Known for her relationship-driven approach, Mary is passionate about helping companies build high-performing Medical Affairs teams while supporting candidates through pivotal career decisions.

Mary is a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, wife, and mother of two incredible (grown) kids. She loves live music, Formula 1, traveling, and volunteering in pediatric rare disease advocacy and research.
