Marianne Thai
Marianne started recruiting in 2005, with a vast majority of her career focused in the upstream oil and gas industry. She received her Master’s with an emphasis in Human Resources and started working in recruitment shortly after, where she discovered recruiting was her passion. She approaches her work with fervor, allowing her to successfully help others achieve their professional goals. She was inducted into The Pinnacle Society, a consortium of leading recruiters in 2015, served as a Board Member from 2017-2021, and still remains an active member.
After working for the same recruiting firm for nearly 15 years, Marianne took a leap of faith and started up her own company, in the midst of a pandemic and downturn in the oil and gas industry. Marlen & Associates ended up being the next chapter of her career!Marlen & Associates is a minority, female-owned and operated boutique recruiting firm that specializes in direct-hire placement of professionals in the upstream Oil and Gas industry. We are experts in our niche and work in partnerships with both clients and candidates. Marianne has worked hundreds of requisitions and has placed a plethora of candidates, all contributing to building an extensive network of oil and gas professionals. Her drive, persistence, and industry knowledge have allowed her to position herself as a trusted advisor.
