Scott grew up in Kokomo, Indiana and attended Purdue University in 1992 where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and a minor in Hydraulics. Upon graduating from college, he followed family tradition and joined the United States Marine Corps as a 2nd Lieutenant. After serving 4 years on active duty and deploying across the globe, he entered Corporate America in the manufacturing sector with Corning Incorporated. While at Corning, he served as a Production Supervisor, Design Engineer, and Project Manager. He eventually returned home to Indiana taking a position in Facilities Maintenance Management with the Guide Corp division of General Motors. In 1999, while working at General Motors, Scott was approached by Management Recruiters of Noblesville, the recruiting agency that placed him at GM, with a position as an executive recruiter. He jumped at the opportunity, focusing in general manufacturing at first before establishing a niche in the food, pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing industry. He earned multiple awards while at MRI to include Midwest Regional Rookie of the year in 2000, Pacesetter (awarded to the top 1% billers in the Corporation) 5 consecutive years from 2000-2005, and National Biller of the month twice. During this time period, Scott continued to serve in the Marine Corps Reserves and had climbed to the rank of Major. In May of 2005, he was part of a 12 month Presidential Mobilization in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and served overseas in Iraq where he was a part of the Iraqi Constitutional Referendum, the first National Election, and Operations Iron Fist and Steel Curtain. Upon returning home, he founded Arnett Management Solutions, Inc. The company focuses in multiple industries to include pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing, engineering and architecture services, and healthcare. Scott is married to Stacey and they have three beautiful children, Sophia, Brenna and Graden. They currently reside in Westfield, Indiana. Scott is active in such organizations as National Association of Personnel Services, International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers, Veterans of Foreign War, American Legion, Free and Accepted Masons Lodge #57, John Purdue Club, and the Purdue Alumni Association. He is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps Reserves.
