Carol Wenom CPC/CTS, President of The Pinnacle Society and VP at The Whitaker Companies presented a session at the National Assn of Personnel Services (NAPS) conference in Denver in September
The session, entitled “Real Recruiting – Building Meaningful Relationships,” was presented to a packed room of experienced recruiters who were looking for tools to become more successful. In this session Carol discussed how one of the biggest things that catapulted her billings from “average” to “Pinnacle level” was how she viewed her relationships with candidates and clients. She then gave the audience insight into how she executed that vision. Carol shared some significant changes that her audience could make in how they interact and communicate with clients and candidates to enable them to escalate their relationships to “Preferred Provider” status. This session dissected the relationship between client and recruiter and gave the audience some tools to take their business and billings to the next level. She received high praise and many accolades from those who attended the session including this email from one of the attendees: “I wanted to thank you for your presentations at the NAPS conference last week. I really enjoyed your content and the way you delivered the message, at the “Building Meaningful Relationships” session. I came away with some really great nuggets of information.”
Over the 30+ years of her career, Carol has been highly sought after as a trainer and presenter at national and regional industry events. She has also been recognized for her excellence in recruiting with numerous honors and awards at local, state and national levels. Among her many professional society awards, Carol has earned the Texas Association’s “Outstanding Contributions to the Professional Staffing Industry” award, and was inducted into the NAPS Hall of Fame in 2013.
